Kuenz Spreader

Spreaders, particular used in the piggy back mode, are an operational safety hazard. Therefore Kuenz designs and manufactures its own spreaders to the highest applicable safety standards. This guarantees a permanent safe and reliable operation. The Kuenz know-how, gained over the years by designing special cranes was a key element for succeeding in designing and developing a superior spreader solution in-house. The Kuenz spreader is fully integrated into the Kuenz crane management system.

Automated container cranes for intermodal operation Railway-Road

For over 3 years Kuenz is building automated container crane systems for intermodal operations Railway-Road. Continuous development and innovation over the years created significant improvements in regard to operational and maintenance aspects for today’s cranes.

The entire terminal can be equipped with Kuenz automation. If required (see project AVN) even a train will be positioned by the automated Kuenz control system which then allows fully automatic on/off loading. Specific know-how gained by building custom cranes allows Kuenz to offer various peripheral systems. Remote control stands are used to safeguard and - if required - to operate the automated crane systems.
