What are your responsibilities:
Plan, direct, and coordinate movement of products to industrial organization and government customers. Establish sales territories, quotas, goals, pricing schedules, and discount rates. Visit potential and current key accounts and/or larger projects to provide product information, answer client questions and concerns, and further market share. Attend trade fairs, seminars, and conferences in coordination with management in order to identify trends, as well as establish, maintain, and expand the customer base. Generate visit reports and use and maintain CRM/DMS as sole database. Develop marketing strategies and coordinate the development of marketing material. Oversee the process involved in and approve calculation and preparation of all bids/tenders. Oversee all contractual conditions (technical, commercial, time schedule) according to sales process. Analyze sales statistics and operational records to project sales potential and inventory requirements and monitor the preferences of customers. Resolve customer complaints regarding sales/service. Prepare and monitor sales budgets and expenditures. Oversee development and retention of all bid, sales, and credit records for customers and prospects. Supervise one Sales Engineer.
What we are looking for:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Management, or a closely related field. Employer requires 2 years of experience in any technical sales position involving sales of heavy machinery for civil engineering projects. Must have sales experience working with industrial organizations and government customers. Must have experience handling tenders (proposals for equipment on projects). Up to 30% travel required domestically and internationally
